I have been offline for some days, to avoid the harassment & sucking that seeks to distract my attention from performance. Now past the worst of it, and aided by wi-fi & a day off, I have been catching up.

Well. This is in the morning's post -- http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/experimental/reviews/frippeno_equatorial.shtml

A great place to go and smoke with friends, and blow smoke over people you don't know as well, as well: the Mazda Smoking Palace --

01.05 Soundscapes seem to work for G3 audiences at around 20 minutes. This is the standard set length we have now adopted. Billy Sheehan came up again tonight & made the set. Billy is a stunning player.

I saw all of Steve's set, from the side, and it was strong. Joe's set: a highlight for me was the wonderful contained groove of Is There Love In Space?

Low spot of the evening: all-pervasive smoke. All the time, everywhere. Smoke.
